Miss Me Baby

part of the Haunted by You Collection

Available At: Totally Bound Books 2 Read

Say you’ll haunt me, since I’ll never stop loving you.

Felicity Black never quite understood love. She worked her assets to get what she wanted and didn’t care who got in the way. Until she met John. He saw past her superficial self to the woman inside. Death separated her from John before she could tell him how she truly felt. Now she’s got her chance...just not in the way she expected.

John wanted Felicity to haunt him. She had been the only woman to stir not only his heart but his soul as well. But the woman claiming to be his lost love can’t be her... Felicity was dead. He has to decide whether to trust his gut or walk away from a new start.

Can a second chance at a first impression lead to love or a lifetime of heartbreak?

Reader Advisory: This story contains an out-of-body experience, voyeurism, spanking, rough sex, masturbation, and a chance for love to strike twice.

“That’s a good little worker bee.” His voice faded, like he was miles away and shouting. “All my problems are gone.”

She leaned back in her seat, still unable to open her eyes as she slipped into unconsciousness. A chill wrapped around her and she couldn’t breathe. An image of John formed in her mind. He frowned, the corners of his mouth pulling down. His voice took on a rough tone. “You need to wake up. You need to wake up.”

“Why?”

“You’re drowning. Wake up, Sweets. Come back to me. Please don’t die. I need you. I love you.”

Come back to him? Despite the fog in her brain, she opened her eyes. The vision of John evaporated. Blackness surrounded her and a steady pressure squeezed her. Had the security light blown? The lack of light didn’t explain being squashed. John’s words came to mind. Drowning. The darkness around her wasn’t the landscape of the park around the lake. She slapped the car door and swished through the water. Bubbles floated past the cracked window and her face.

Oh my God…

Felicity tugged on her seatbelt. When the blasted thing finally budged, she turned in her seat to kick the window the rest of the way open. The harder she kicked, the more tired she became.

My worst nightmare is coming true. I hate water. Panicking, she swallowed a lungful of water. I can’t die this way…. She choked and punched the window to no avail.

I can’t die…

Reviews

"Miss Me Baby is an interesting take on coming back to earth from Heaven to haunt a lover – or rather have some smokin’ hot sex with a lover – and I was impressed how smooth this ‘unbelievable’ aspect of this book was....There was some great sexy moments, some lovely slushy romantic scenes and an ending that was wholly satisfying." ~ Clover - Long and Short Reviews
